When I was little Halloween was one of those days I relished in all of the moments - the cupcakes and treats the moms would bring to school, the colorful costumes, the gym dance where we learned classics like the "Time Warp" and the "Twist." Trick-or-treating for candy, even though most years I never really got more than a half a bag. Sitting at the kitchen table with parents checking candy for bad apples.
It was all the little things that made it exciting, enjoyable, and memorable. Sometimes it's easy to forget to enjoy those little things when we're so stuck on the big picture.
But you guys reading my blog, you're part of the little things that make my day go that much better. Happy Halloween.
