If we prioritized teaching our children not just respect, but true empathy and caring for those other than ourselves, maybe our society wouldn't be suffering all these problems.

As a teacher who spends so much energy trying to treat her students like real people SO THAT they in turn will treat others like real people, it gets really tiring to hear all this crap on the news. Kids weren't born with the intention to harm.

At the same time, it is nearly impossible for me to sympathize with anyone once he or she has committed unwarranted intended harm.

What is the use of anger? Sometimes, it just swells up and invades my mind. And then a voice in the back of my head tells me to just throw it away, it's useless. But it always comes back with its poison.

  1. A Bunny stops by. He leave you a note that says:

"We get angry because we care about things. In that sense, it is a natural reaction. If we let it consume us, then it becomes dangerous"
